Zamaratti started in Leicester, and it’s still where everything happens. We bring our stone in from quarries across the eastern hemisphere, then work it into finished panels at our own facility here. Sliced slate, translucent stone, bamboo and sculpted feature panels, all cut and finished under one roof.
It grew the way most good things do, one wall at a time. What began as feature walls in Leicester homes turned into full fit-outs for restaurants and bars around the country, and the belief behind it never changed: use the real material, and do the work yourself.

We don’t make the raw sheets, but from that point on it’s all ours. Our own CNC machines handle the cutting, the shaping and the fretwork, so when a job calls for something specific, we make it here rather than send it out. That’s how we keep a grip on the quality, the timing and the finish, right up to the last panel on the wall.

Every panel that leaves us has been handled by the same small team, from the cut on the workshop floor to the fit on site. It’s not a call centre and a subcontractor, it’s the people whose name is on the door.
